About Bookflow

A calmer way to read, listen, and understand.

Reading shouldn’t mean juggling five apps. Bookflow brings your books, audio, summaries, and translation into one quiet, focused place.

We think the act of reading deserves a single, calm home — one place to read a page or listen to it, ask a question when you’re lost, and keep the words worth remembering.

Why we
built it

Most of us read in fragments — a few pages on a commute, a chapter before bed, a highlight we mean to revisit and never do. The tools meant to help often add friction: one app to read, another to listen, a browser tab to look something up, a notebook for the words worth keeping.

We care about understanding more than streaks or speed. Bookflow is built to help you stay with a book — and to get more out of every reading session, however much time you have.

What we believe

A few principles that guide every decision we make.

01

Calm by design

No clutter, no dark patterns, no endless feeds. Just you and the book, in a space that’s easy on the eyes and the mind — in light or dark.

02

Understanding over consumption

Summaries, Q&A, and vocabulary tools that help you actually grasp what you read — not just turn pages faster.

03

Your library is yours

Your books and notes belong to you. We design for privacy and portability, not lock-in.

We’re building the reading app we always wanted — unhurried, focused, and respectful of your attention. We hope it earns a place on your shelf.
